Athletic Study Center General Support Fund

Student-Athletes are some of UC Berkeley’s most visible points of excellence as they bring pride to our entire university community through their achievements. With their rigorous physical training and competition schedules, however, they face additional challenges to their success on campus. The Athletic Study Center supports student-athletes develop into independent, self-reliant, and successful young adults. With a commitment to the integration and engagement of student-athletes into campus life, and support from donors like you, the Athletic Study Center helps ensure that student-athletes succeed in the classroom and beyond.

The Student Learning Center Fund

For more than 45 years, the Student Learning Center has been the primary source of academic support at Berkeley, currently serving approximately 30 percent of the undergraduate population. By leveraging the science of learning and research on higher education, and promoting collaboration, innovation and diversity in all services, the SLC creates learning models that help students meet the rigor of this premier research university.

Berkeley Connect

Students get more out of their undergraduate experience when they feel like they belong. With the motto, "you belong here," Berkeley Connect has pioneered a new mentoring model proven to increase students’ sense of belonging and confidence by matching undergraduates with graduate student mentors and providing them with both personalized attention and a community of like-minded peers. With your support, Berkeley Connect makes our big university feel like home.

Public Service Center

For 50 years, the Public Service Center (PSC) has partnered with Berkeley faculty and community members to help students find their own paths toward creating a more just and equitable world. As the third-largest employer on campus, the center offers internships, volunteer opportunities, fellowships, courses, alternative breaks, and tutoring/literacy support. Your generosity provides greater access for students who can’t afford to pay the full cost of a program or to take time off from work to participate.
