In many industries, there is no room at the business table for women. The Women in Leadership Circle’s mission is to build a table together to provide a voice to women across all industries and sectors. The Circle does so by being there for each other and for the next generation of leaders graduating from UC Berkeley. The Circle launched the Women in Leadership Fund to support students as they navigate Berkeley. This year, the Fund aims to fill in the gap caused by COVID-19 and provide opportunities to those affected by the pandemic In providing support, this Fund encourages female students to follow their paths and not feel discouraged or derailed from their career tracks. The Fund also works to connect these female students to Cal alumnae mentors to help them as they embark on their careers. Through this, the Circle supports female students and positions them to be the leaders of tomorrow.
