Diverse Business Leadership Through Fellowships

Join us in creating a more equitable world by supporting fellowships for graduate business students who demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in their work.

"We can’t leave out communities that need to be heard from and considered if we’re going to make good decisions as business leaders. We need to stop the cycle of having some communities that can’t rise above a certain income level. People of all backgrounds can make a significant contribution to Haas and to the world." - Stacey King, MBA 20

Organizations that value creative thinking and diversity of opinion come up with better ideas and develop better products. At the Haas School of Business, our goal is to promote more racial representation in business at all levels, including leadership positions and board seats. Partner with us to expand the pipeline of diverse leaders by creating greater access to business education.

Together, we can help society make strides toward economic justice and equal opportunity, establishing generational wealth among minority populations who experience systemic discrimination in the workforce along with a widening racial wealth gap.

This fall, underrepresented minorities (Native American, Black, and Latinx) comprised 17% of our incoming Full-Time MBA class, 11% of our Executive MBA class, and 8% of our Evening and Weekend MBA class. It’s encouraging to see these numbers on the rise, but we can do better. In California, for example, 45% of the population is an underrepresented minority, and as we work toward becoming a Hispanic-Serving Institution note that 55% of California’s high school students are Latinx. Your donation can help yield a more diverse student body and develop a more inclusive work environment—increasing minority leadership in businesses and decision-making positions at all levels.

Thank you for collaborating with us on advancing diversity, equity and inclusion at the Haas School of Business.
