Support Cal Athletics' Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Initiatives

Support Cal Athletics on Giving Tuesday by making a gift to provide resources for the Associate Athletic Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging position and the work they will do at Cal to support diversity and inclusion.

Gifts to Cal Athletics will go to the Athletic Director's Excellence Fund and will help provide funds to implement important changes and initiatives that directly and positively impact our student-athletes.

The Pursuit of Excellence: Cal Hires Associate Athletic Director for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging

Cal Athletics remains dedicated to being the model of comprehensive excellence and was excited to announce the hire of Dr. Ty-Ron Douglas. Among the many duties in his role at Cal, Douglas will utilize his experience and knowledge to apply advanced diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging concepts to promote diversity training, while also developing programs to increase hiring and retention and improving staff morale - all with a focus on underrepresented and historically marginalized populations.
