The Cal Student Safety Fund
The Cal Student Safety Fund addresses the safety needs of our student population on and around the University of California, Berkeley.
Your contribution will go towards enhancing student safety through various community and campus-based initiatives. Examples of the projects you can help make possible include:
- Increasing accessibility and ease of night transportation, including support for BearTransit and the development of a rideshare program
- Adding additional blue-light emergency phones
- Increasing lighting on and around campus by installing additional lamp posts and other lighting fixtures to amplify visibility
- Increasing community safety services off-campus and in residential halls through expansion of the BearWalk Escort Program and Safety Ambassador Program
