Center for Emerging and Neglected Diseases

Your support of the Center for Emerging and Neglected Diseases helps us to bring together the best and brightest minds at UC Berkeley and beyond to understand and develop solutions for combating infectious diseases.

The Friends of the Center for Emerging and Neglected Diseases (CEND) Fund helps us to maintain our position at the forefront of infectious disease research. Our goal is to educate innovators about the global health challenges posed by these diseases, connect researchers from diverse disciplines, locations, and sectors to foster collaborative research, and invest in that research enterprise to transform discoveries into useful interventions. The fund provides unrestricted support to our center, allowing us to relieve the areas of greatest need for our researchers. Your gift will help us continue to channel the research and educational excellence of UC Berkeley toward the global challenge of emerging and neglected infectious diseases.
