BIG GIVE IS OVER, BUT YOU CAN STILL SUPPORT YOUR FAVORITE PROGRAMS.
Nutritional Sciences Discretionary Research Fund

A gift to the Nutritional Sciences Discretionary Research Fund is an investment in revolutionary research that impacts all living organisms and our environment.

The Department of Nutritional Sciences & Toxicology (NST) focuses on the metabolic biology of nutrients and toxicants in relation to human health and disease. Our programs utilize the best resources UC Berkeley has to offer, from distinguished faculty to a state-of-the-art facility to groundbreaking research endeavors. Our work spans a breadth of topic, from the delivery of nutrients to mammalian cells and their molecular functions to programs and policies that address human and environmental health and safety.

Our goal is to prepare our students to make successful contributions to research, education, industry and government, and/or participate in advanced studies in health and biosciences. You are not only supporting our students, faculty, and research — you’re contributing to building and preserving the health and well-being of future generations.
