The Building a Just Social Sciences initiative is a consortium of individuals and organizations committed to creating a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable system of higher education.
This initiative will leverage the shared experience and resources of seasoned stakeholders from inside and outside the academy. The goals are to not only transform issues of equity in hiring, admissions, mentorship, and faculty/student support but also broaden and diversify intellectual horizons. The approach will be comprehensive and forward-thinking, seeking to develop systemic solutions that will shift the ways in which we attract, attain, and support a diverse community of students, faculty, and staff.
