KALX-FM broadcasts diverse music, news, Cal sports, and informational programming 24/7/365 over the airwaves and online, curated and hosted by students and community members. For over 60 years, KALX has provided students with opportunities to enrich their time at Cal with experiential learning, creating and broadcasting high-quality and creative radio programming to the San Francisco Bay Area and the world beyond. Students and community members work in a collaborative environment on audio production, marketing, community relations, peer training, and management.
