Attending Berkeley’s Forestry Camp in California’s Plumas National Forest is a seminal experience for Berkeley’s undergraduates. At Cal’s Forestry Camp, officially called the Forestry Summer Field Program, students get exceptional, in-depth, and hands-on opportunities to study ecology, stewardship, and management of forest, woodland, and grassland ecosystems. The camp is the only one of its kind west of the Mississippi River.
Your gift helps keep our program on the cutting edge of environmental science and provides an enriching experience for our undergraduates. This fund supports maintenance and upgrades to camp facilities as well as new equipment for campers.
