Your support of the Cancer Research Fund helps us to provide world-class scientists with the resources and facilities needed to develop novel therapeutic approaches to cancer treatment.

The Cancer Research Fund helps Berkeley Biological Sciences remain at the forefront of the cancer research enterprise. Our campus has a history of groundbreaking cancer discoveries, such as Dr. Jim Allison’s work on “checkpoint blockade” that led to FDA approval of the breakthrough cancer drug Yervoy (Ipilimumab). Your support provides crucial funding for the fundamental research that is necessary to uncover the next big breakthrough in cancer treatment.

A generous donor on the L&S Advisory Board will contribute $10,000 to the L&S Leadership Fund once the first 500 donors give to any part of the College of Letters & Science.
