Achievement Award Program (TAAP) Scholarship Fund
Help fund scholarships for low-income, high-achieving students at Berkeley.
Approximately 100 new and continuing students receive a TAAP scholarship each year. And thanks to donors like you, we can provide more opportunities for the brightest, most deserving students at Cal.
Of the more than 260 students who received TAAP funding in the past 10 years, 71 percent are first-generation college students and 59 percent come from underrepresented backgrounds. The eligibility criteria include California residency and a 3.0 grade point average, but the determining factors for selection emphasize community service, volunteerism, ambition, and leadership abilities.
