California Institute for Energy & Environment Fund

Support the California Institute for Energy and Environment to advance the state's pacesetting energy and environment goals.

The California Institute for Energy and Environment (CIEE) is a dedicated group of experts who define, conduct, and lead research, technology, and policy development for energy and environmental issues. CIEE also provides valuable research opportunities for undergraduates to take part in the Cal Energy Corps summer internship program, connecting them with companies and research units performing cutting-edge work. Graduate students are eligible to apply for grants dedicated to energy efficiency research; they also work with CIEE’s experts on pioneering research, such as projects using sensors and software to integrate renewable electricity generation into the grid.
