Inspire the next generation of engineers through summer camps and events designed to increase diversity in STEM.
Girls in Engineering is the College of Engineering’s signature outreach program working to address the gender disparity and lack of diversity in engineering and other STEM fields. The program offers four week-long summer camps to inspire middle school students. Through hands-on activities led by Berkeley faculty, engineers from industry, and student camp counselors, Girls in Engineering piques campers’ curiosity and shows them what is possible with an engineering degree.
