Support the Berkeley Labor Center in making an impact for working people in California, building a sustainable, inclusive economy that works for all, in good and in difficult times.
Build an inclusive economy for all
During the global pandemic, we have been reminded of how much low-wage essential workers — at the frontlines of healthcare, food service, teaching — bear the brunt of the nation’s multiple crises. They continue to lift us out of this pandemic. And in return we need to lift up their voices and invest in building a more robust labor movement.
Your support enables us to produce critical research on job quality, health care access, retirement security, technology and the future of workers, and the transition to a green economy; to engage worker organizations in California with technical expertise, training, and leadership development programs; and builds the next generation of leaders through the Labor Studies program at Cal and our Labor Summer internship program.
