Big Give is over, but you can still support your favorite programs.
The Cal in the Capital Program Fund

The Cal in the Capital Program Fund supports students as they embark on summer internships in our nation’s capital.

Founded in 1965, Cal in the Capital (CITC) trains and prepares 75 UC Berkeley students annually for summer internships based out of Washington, D.C. CITC interns come from all majors, backgrounds, and areas of interest. As of its 54th year in 2019, 4,035 CITC interns have contributed more than 1.7 million hours of service in over 400 professional settings including congressional offices, federal government agencies, think tanks, nonprofit organizations, media centers, private companies, and research institutions.

“CITC was not only valuable for professional development and understanding the environment [in Washington, D.C.] but also taught me to believe in myself and my capabilities.”
                                                                                          — Ana Torres, CITC 2020
