Supporting the Policy Advocacy Clinic helps law and public policy students gain vital hands-on legal experience as they take on systemic racial, economic, and social injustice nationwide.
The clinic's approach is ground-up (rooted in the lives of real people), problem-based (addressing pressing social issues), and client-driven (accountable to community organizations). Exhaustive research and dogged efforts by the Policy Advocacy Clinic led to California and Nevada abolishing racially discriminatory fees and fines for youth and their families in the criminal legal system and helped launch a national effort to eliminate such fees.
Your support of the clinic provides opportunities for students to engage in this critical work and see their efforts reach the floors of state capitals and become law.
