New Business Community Law Clinic

Your support helps law students gain vital hands-on legal experience while providing essential services to low-income entrepreneurs and small business owners in California’s Central Valley and East Bay.

The newly launched New Business Community Law Clinic connects students with low-income entrepreneurs trying to start a new business, offering legal support to a diverse community of entrepreneurs in California’s East Bay area and Central Valley. Students develop transactional law skills while learning how an in-house counsel guides a business. The clinic made an instant impact in spring 2020, offering crucial support to area small businesses navigating how to stay open during COVID-19.
