Art History/Classics Library

The Art History/Classics Library Fund supports the collection and programmatic needs of the Art History/Classics Library. The Art History/Classics Library houses collections that directly support programs in Art History, Art Practice, Classics, Ancient History and Mediterranean Archaeology. The library houses the Fine Arts Collection with over 180,000 volumes, built over the years to specifically support the academic and research programs in the History of Art and Art Practice as well as the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive. Students and faculty in related disciplines, such as classical studies, visual culture, literature, studio art, dramatic arts, film studies, architecture, history, cultural studies, archaeology, museum studies, material culture, new media, area studies, and philosophy, actively use this collection.
