Radical shifts in technology have produced radical shifts in society, culture, politics, and economics. To solve the challenges of tomorrow, we need to study and shape the media of today. The Berkeley Center for New Media is the nexus for that interdisciplinary research. Each semester, more than 4,000 students, artists, engineers, and designers engage with us as critical thinkers and makers in our courses and programs.
Your gift provides broad support to the Center, enabling us to develop new interdisciplinary courses, offer students opportunities to make a difference in their communities, provide one-on-one research mentorship, and enrich the student experience through conversations that challenge convention and inspire innovative solutions.
