Summer is the only time of year UC Berkeley opens its doors and shares the tradition of innovation and excellence to visiting students. Summer Sessions offers more than 700 courses each summer in a wide variety of disciplines. More than 17,000 students attend UC Berkeley in the summer, and more than 5,000 of those students are visitors (non-UC Berkeley students).
