You can help increase the college going rates of California’s underrepresented students.
For more than 40 years, this fund has supported the enrollment and success of tens of thousands of students. Since 1981, Puente has served over 100,000 secondary and community college students. Eighty-two percent of Puente’s secondary students and 84 percent of Puente’s community college students are the first in their families to attend college. The college going rate of Puente graduates in 2019–20 was considerably higher when compared to those rates in all of California (81 percent versus 64 percent).
