The Fannie Lou Hamer Resource Center Fund

Support the latest progress in UC Berkeley’s African American Initiative: a student resource center for Black students at Cal.

Named after the Black voting rights activist and civil rights leader Fannie Lou Hamer, the Fannie Lou Hamer Black Resource Center was created out of a critical call by students for a space for Black students and organizations to organize and engage in academic, social-cultural, leadership, community development, and networking activities.

You can help sustain the many efforts of this center, some of which include tutoring and advising support, workshops on mental and physical health, professional development activites, and more. Let’s come together to ensure the center’s maintenance and continuation for future generations to come.
