Help fund fellowships, hosting international scholars, and other life-changing experiences for students.
The Program in Critical Theory offers a designated emphasis in Critical Theory to UC Berkeley’s doctoral students doing innovative theoretical work in the social sciences, arts, and humanities. Its program of study combines coursework in 19th-century social theory and philosophy, Frankfurt School and related 20th-century theory and criticism, and engagements with contemporary critical theory traditions.
You can help the program by helping to fund graduate fellowships, hosting of international scholars, lectures, seminars, and symposia for the wider campus and San Francisco Bay Area community.
