Since its establishment in 1987, the Doreen B. Townsend Center for the Humanities has encouraged an interdisciplinary approach to scholarship, fostered innovative research, and promoted intellectual conversation across academic fields.

You can make a big impact by helping to fund the center’s comprehensive efforts that include fellowship and grant programs, interdisciplinary working groups (ranging from tourism studies to feminist anthropologies), conferences, innovative academic initiatives like the Art of Writing program, and endowed lectures from the most distinguished scholars and artists in the world.
