The Cancer Research Fund helps Berkeley Biological Sciences remain at the forefront of the cancer research enterprise. Our campus has a history of groundbreaking cancer discoveries, such as Dr. Jim Allison’s work on “checkpoint blockade” that led to FDA approval of the breakthrough cancer drug Yervoy (Ipilimumab). Your support provides crucial funding for the fundamental research that is necessary to uncover the next big breakthrough in cancer treatment.
