The Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) is a vibrant, engaged, and essential part of the UC Berkeley campus. It is a vital bridge to Latin America and the Caribbean. Our mission is to inspire new ideas and research by bringing together academics, artists, activists, public intellectuals, entrepreneurs, and policy-makers from Latin America, the United States, and the world. Your support helps CLAS continue to fund special seminars on critical issues, promotion of Indigenous languages, graduate field research in Latin America, as well as events from public lectures to film series.
