Africa matters. Support our work in promoting the study of the dynamism and diversity of Africa and African issues.
Africa matters now and will so even more in the coming decades. By the end of the 21st century, a third of the global population and nearly 40 percent of the global workforce will be African. Our center provides opportunities for students, faculty, visiting scholars, and the general public to engage with the dynamism and diversity of African Studies and Africa’s place in the world through fellowships, advising, colloquia, workshops, language study, educator outreach, and public programs.
Your gift to the Center for African Studies General Fund supports these endeavors, especially student-initiated activities. To learn more, please visit africa.berkeley.edu.
