Big Give is over, but you can still support your favorite programs.
Mark Twain Papers Project

This fund supports the ongoing study, research, and production of publications regarding Mark Twain and his life.

Since 1949, when Samuel Clemens’s daughter, Clara, gave his unpublished papers to the library, the university has added hundreds of original documents to that basic core. The collection has grown with the addition of letters, literary manuscripts, scrapbooks, rare printings, photographs, and more.

The Mark Twain Papers Project Fund shines light on Clemens’s biography, family, friendships, and influence on the times, documented by his extensive correspondence and other texts. In 2006, the National Endowment for the Humanities recognized the project as a model program that advances the study, teaching, and understanding of American history and culture.

Your gift will support this ongoing work. Thank you!
