The California Institute for Quantitative Biosciences at Berkeley (QB3-Berkeley) is home to researchers, engineers, and Nobel Prize-winning scientists who create new technologies and therapeutics that fuel the California economy. QB3-Berkeley scientists and engineers have launched dozens of companies, harnessed CRISPR, created COVID-19 diagnostics, and studied the cellular underpinnings of cancer. - Provides incubator lab space for startups; past tenants include Caribou and GenEdit
- Administers nine core research facilities
- Offers workshops, panels, and trainings through our Graduate and Postdoc Career Development office
