For 75 years, the Institute of Transportation Studies (ITS Berkeley) has been one of the world's leading centers for transportation research, education, and scholarship. It develops leading-edge innovations influencing movement of people and goods and advancing sustainability, economic health, and quality of life.
More than 100 graduate students from across a dozen UC Berkeley academic departments and schools and the Berkeley Lab take part in this multidisciplinary research unit.
