Gifts to the Cal Men’s Basketball Strategic Excellence Fund (also known as the Men’s Basketball Excellence Initiative) will enable the men’s basketball program to invest in opportunities that enhance the student-athlete experience and accelerate competitive excellence. Your gifts make an immediate impact on the priorities that continue to shape Cal as a destination school for top student-athlete recruits and graduate transfer students. Investments will focus on key priorities, including, but not limited to:
-Exceptional student-athlete experiences
-Enhanced nutrition and refueling program
-Expanded infrastructure to support national recruiting efforts
-Attracting and retaining elite coaching and support staff
-Innovative technology and equipment
-Providing coaches with the ability and flexibility to make timely and strategic investments in support of men's basketball student-athletes, as we prepare to implement the House settlement through Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) licensing agreements.
