Your gift supports research projects regarding the search for extraterrestrial intelligence at UC Berkeley.
A gift to SETI — Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence — will support three research projects.
- SETI@home utilized the effort of millions of volunteers and their home computers to process data from the Arecibo radio telescope. The project is now completing data analysis and preparing for publication.
- SERENDIP, another radio SETI project, is being deployed at new radio observatories.
- PANOSETI searches for infrared optical signals over the entire sky.
