Cal VSA - Cultivating Vietnamese Culture
Cal VSA aims to educate and preserve the history and heritage of Vietnamese culture.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) is one of Cal’s VSA missions and goals. Our organization strives to foster a strong community and sense of belonging among Vietnamese American students and students who are interested in learning about Vietnamese culture. Every year, we host events and community-based programs to fulfill that purpose. We have monthly general meetings with meaningful themes relating to educating our members about Vietnamese culture. In the fall, we organize a free-admission Culture Festival with fun Vietnamese folk games, ao dai fashion show, and Vietnamese food. In the spring semester, we produce a  Culture Show at Zellerbach Hall that showcases Vietnamese culture by providing a unique performance space for creative expression of all mediums.

In honor of this year’s Giving Tuesday, we would like to ask for support from donors to help us continue our mission. Our cabinet members and interns work hard to produce every event, and we have a lot of passion for what we do. With your generous support, we can continue to produce our quality events and socials. Your support is important to our success and impact on the student body at UC Berkeley, especially the Vietnamese American student community. Please help us reach our goal!
