Berkeley Art Studio: Art & Design Scholarship Fund
Our scholarship program makes art and design accessible to everyone!
Imagine a Cal campus where every student had a transformative, creative experience before graduation. Money is no issue, and the best Bay Area artists are available to facilitate this experience. The Berkeley Art Studio, Creative Lab, and the Educational Opportunities Program (EOP) want to make this dream a reality. We are seeking either $50,000 in combined annual contributions, or a large endowment, in order to provide free art and design classes to 250 low income, first-generation, and underrepresented UC Berkeley students annually.
The Berkeley Art Studio and Creative Lab have been providing scholarships to low-income undergraduate and graduate students since 2014 through a patch-work of various funding sources and grants. However it has become clear that we need to secure a sustainable source of funds to support this highly successful program.
