Undergraduate Women in Economics at Berkeley
Undergraduate Women in Economics at Berkeley

Undergraduate Women in Economics at Berkeley (UWEB) is an organization dedicated to increasing diversity and women representation, and to fostering a sense of community. Our beginnings derive from the Undergraduate Women in Economics Challenge posited by Harvard Professor Claudia Goldin to increase the representation in Economics. We strive to do our part not only on the UC Berkeley campus but as part of this nationwide community.

The Undergraduate Women in Economics at Berkeley strives to empower women to thrive in a field that is dominated by men. Our 3 pillars are internal, external, and professionalism/mentorship. We host numerous panels, networking events, and professional development workshops each month for our undergraduate community in order to unite, empower, and connect or members to each other and the world. We are open to all majors and genders, and all just share a love of economics.

Connect with us on FacebookLinkedInand/or Instagram in order to keep up to date with our latest events.
