Support Student-Led Social Justice Partnerships!
Public Service Center student leaders are making change happen

The Public Service Center supports 200 Cal student leaders in collaborating with community organizations, nonprofits, and schools to bring about positive social change. Your support will fund collaborations like:

  • Sanctuary Voices: a partnership with East Bay Sanctuary Covenant to hold creative & healing storytelling spaces for refugees & migrants
  • BUILD: 150 Cal students returned to in-person mentoring in Berkeley & Oakland public schools, helping 450 children strengthen their reading skills
  • Community College Mentoring: Cal students are tutoring community college students at Contra Costa College and Berkeley City College
  • VITA: students offer free tax prep assistance at community centers helping low-income individuals collectively save thousands of dollars
  • Zoom Mentors: a pandemic partnership matching 150 Berkeley middle schoolers with a Cal student mentor to support online learning
  • Public Service Internships: student leaders place 50+ students in community-based internships with Bay Area partner organizations

We are grateful to have largely returned to in-person collaborations especially at this critical time for our communities.
Will you support us in building collaborations for a better tomorrow?
