One of the main initiatives of the ASUC is to increase opportunity and equity for the UC Berkeley study body. Senator Romo’s ASUC office creates the continuous effort to achieve this goal of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging each day.
Housing insecurity is a constant stressor for many students in the UC Berkeley community that exhibits extra limitations on students and their learning. We have created this page in hopes of offering low-income students financial assistance for their housing expenses.
The funds that we raise will be contributed to the Housing Security Deposit Award Fund. The Financial Aid & Scholarships Office will be managing the funds, as this project was created in advancing the resources the office already provides to students facing housing insecurity.
