UC Berkeley’s student-athletes are among some of our most visible and diverse student groups, bringing pride to our entire university community through their academic, athletic and community achievements. With their rigorous physical training and competition schedules, however, they face additional challenges to their success on campus. Supporting student-athletes on their academic paths is a valuable way for alumni, friends, and others to contribute to Cal’s overall distinction. The ASC seeks to ensure that ALL student athletes succeed--in the classroom and beyond.
The mission of the Athletic Study Center (ASC) is to support student-athletes to develop into independent, self-reliant, and successful young adults. We are committed to the integration and engagement of student-athletes into campus life, guided by our core values of learning, inclusion, integrity, teamwork, and compassion.
