Support Boost Students in their Pursuit to Learn, Grow, and Engage!

Our program started with one simple idea: help high school students in the Bay Area be the first in their families to go to college. For 30 consecutive years, Boost@BerkeleyHaas has helped almost 1000 students go to college. 100% of our participating students have graduated from the program to pursue higher education. Since its beginnings, Boost has grown to become a four-year program focused on leadership development, college readiness and career preparedness. By continuing to utilize the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business facilities, professors, and student community as mentors, Boost provides a safe and intimate learning environment for high school Bay Area students to cultivate the necessary skills to succeed inside the classroom and beyond.

Boost@BerkeleyHaas prepares and supports students throughout their high school journey through various workshops that focus on college preparedness, life skills development, professional development, case study projects and mentorship. Through mentorship, business skills and college advising, we give underserved youth a boost throughout high school, preparing them for future academic and career endeavors. Our vision is that we imagine a world of abundant opportunities and choices for youth and their communities where anyone can achieve their full potential. That is WHY WE BOOST!

If you would like to also help give these deserving kids a boost also and donate to our program, here are some levels of giving that would help tremendously-

$10,000 would fully support one student though our entire program

$2,500 would fund one student for an entire year of programming

$1,000 would fund one year of a Ray Miles Memorial scholarship for one boost Alumni

$500 would cover the cost of a laptop and other technology for one student

$250 would sponsor one student to attend our annual spring college tour

$100 would cover the backpack and materials the students use throughout the program

$$$??? Any amount could also be designated to be added to our endowment that is being funded to make sure boost stays around forever!
