Berkeley Law Opportunity Scholarship Program

Your support of Berkeley Law’s Opportunity Scholars (BLOS) program provides life-changing scholarships to J.D. candidates who are the first in their families to graduate from college.

Contributions to the BLOS program enable the law school to recruit talented students and offer sufficient financial assistance to empower them to choose our school and enrich our community. The program is designed to bring special opportunities for academic and professional success to each year’s BLOS cohort. These talented students, who often have overcome economic insecurity or other obstacles to reach our law school, bring new perspectives and life experiences to our community.

Berkeley Law Opportunity Scholarship Endowment Challenge

An anonymous donor will give $150,000 to The Berkeley Law Opportunity Scholarship Endowment Fund to support scholarships for first-generation college graduates once the first 150 donors make a gift during Big Give to any Berkeley Law fund.
