Join us in making an impact

The Field Placement Program offers law students the opportunity to expand their legal education beyond the bounds of the law school building. Your contribution will support law students doing legal work at nonprofit and government agencies domestically and internationally — with transportation and other reasonably related out-of-pocket expenses. Each semester about 80–90 law students participate in the program and gain real-life lawyering skills and exposure to lawyers, legal careers, and supervisors/mentors for their future paths. Berkeley Law believes all interested students should be able to participate in this program and should not have to rule this out due to limited funding or other financial constraints.
