BioEngineering Scholars Program Fund
The Bioengineering Scholars Program (BioESP) has a big impact on a small group of students, helping them gain the skills they need to succeed at Berkeley and become leaders who will strengthen and enrich the field of bioengineering.
The program guides students through adjusting to university life and finding their first mentored extracurricular research experience. Through lectures, workshops, advising and a strong peer cohort experience, Scholars come to see themselves as doing science rather than just studying science, a key factor in long-term success.
