Studying education as an undergraduate academic discipline here at the Berkeley School of Education (BSE) is an interdisciplinary endeavor. It strives to advance understanding of how people learn and how to design learning environments, supportive policy, and community contexts in which such learning can successfully unfold. Educational Sciences explores the field of education via academic inquiry and direct engagement with schools, families, and local and global communities through a Bachelor of Science in Educational Sciences, a minor in Education, and a non-degree certification program.
Your gift to the BSE Undergraduate Fund supports programs and activities for students on their academic journey to becoming the next generation of teachers and educational leaders, dedicated to promoting equity and social transformation in pre-K-16 schooling.
